Last meeting we met Rev. Susan S. Jones a Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and now the President of a new non-profit organization: Toms River Housing and Homeless Coalition.
The TRHHC goal is centered on meeting the unmet needs of individuals who are at risk of becoming homeless in Toms River and Ocean County at large. These needs include providing emergent housing needs while also providing access to long-term, stable housing as well as other supportive services as quickly as possible.
What is even better is that Rev. Susan is trying to get all organizations helping the homeless together to be able to provide help at a larger scale. We are happy to support this non-profit organization and are looking forward to see the great changes it will bring to our community.
