Members and friends of the Central Ocean Rotary Club donated and built 50 feet of boardwalk on the Yellow Trail in Cattus Island County Park. Friday was demolition day and Saturday was time to build.
Special thanks to M&T Bank for providing volunteers to help with the demolition of the old boardwalks, Yadira Martinez (winner of this year's scholarship from Toms River High School North), and her brother Carlos for volunteering their time to help with the construction of the new boardwalks, and the Ocean County Parks & Recreation staff for working with us and allowing us the opportunity do this service project that benefits our community.
