Our Club will always support the youth in our community. This is why we were happy to donate to Project SPEAR-IT at Toms River High School South. Project SPEAR-IT is a pre-vocational training program in partnership with United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties that exposes and connects youth to a diverse array of career options and fields, including hands-on learning opportunities.
Lead teacher Timothy O'Leary runs this program and when the pandemic hit he was able to transition the program to a virtual model -- which included how-to instructional videos and Google Meet discussions.
