We were honored to have Toms River Police Department Chief Mitch Little as our speaker last week. He thanked us for our latest donation to the K9 Unit, walked us through the process of new hires, how the Police Dept helps our community, and talked to us about the Toms River Police Foundation. The Foundation awards scholarships to qualified applicants from all Toms River high schools and to those students pursuing a career in law enforcement as well as the children of police department members regardless of their career path.
