TOMS RIVER - It has been a busy time these past few months for Twenty-One Plus and several service organizations in Ocean County this winter. The second service group, Central Ocean Rotary, Toms River, jumped on the painting bandwagon and volunteered their time over two weekends to paint the Adult Training Center, Lakewood. Andy Girtain organized the Rotarians and Girtain Signs, Toms River, generously donated the paint for the project. Over the past thirty years, Twenty-One Plus has expanded its services to include eight group homes, four apartments, an employment program and two Adult Training Centers in Ocean County. Twenty-One Plus provides opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities and is a 501(c) 3 organization. If you or your group would like to volunteer for a project, or become involved with Twenty-One Plus, please contact us at 732-240-3118. Check out the "Wish List" on our website at: www.21plus.org for additional giving opportunities.
